GNHC aims to provide a happy and supportive environment for practitioners to enable them to develop their practices at competitive market rates.

The vision and direction of the Centre is guided by its Director, Pat Truman de Reimers who is also a practitioner at GNHC.

Pat undertakes the day-to-day management assisted by the Practice Manager Jacky Gardner, the Senior Practice Receptionist Charan Birdee and the reception team.

Senior Receptionist (Part-Time) Vacancy

We are looking for a dependable, experienced friendly part-time Senior Receptionist who is used to heading a small team.

23.5 hours per week mainly afternoons and evenings

£10.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime

Shift Pattern: Mon, Wed, Thursday 14.00 – 20.00 Friday 12.30 – 18.00

The candidate should ideally have experience in using an on-line booking system and be computer literate.

Flexibility in working hours to cover shift patterns and holidays is also a requirement.

An interest in and knowledge of complementary health care would be an advantage.

Business Model

Practitioners work on a self employed basis.

Practice space is rented out on a per session basis:

——Morning (08:30-12:30)
——Afternoon (13:00-17:00)
——Evening (17:30-21:30)

Booking a session is a commitment to pay rent for the same session on a recurring basis.

Rent is calculated as either:

——30% of total session earnings or
——£40.00 minimum reservation fee (whichever greater)

What we expect of practitioners

Appropriate qualifications for their given therapy
Membership of a recognised UK therapy regulatory body
Professional insurance indemnity cover
Current First Aid certification (one day training courses can be arranged if required)
Commitment to personal on-going Continual Professional Development (CPD)
